Getting started
SynkriaOps is designed so you can enter your first accounting entry on the very day you sign up. This section covers everything you need to get started: creating your company file, configuring the SYSCOHADA revised 2019 chart of accounts (Plan Comptable OHADA — OHADA Chart of Accounts), inviting your team and navigating the interface.
What you will learn

- Create and configure your company file (company name, tax ID, industry)
- Navigate the 8 main modules of SynkriaOps
- Invite collaborators and assign the right roles (Admin, Accountant, Expert-Accountant)
- Set up your SYSCOHADA revised 2019 chart of accounts (745+ accounts pre-loaded)
- Enter your first accounting entry before the end of your first session
Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”Before you begin, prepare the following information:
- A SynkriaOps account created (or an invitation received by email)
- Your tax identification number if you have an existing tax file
- Your company’s legal form (SA, SARL, SNC, sole trader, association, etc.)
- Your SYSCOHADA activity code (sector) if you know it — useful for initial configuration
- If you are taking over existing bookkeeping: trial balance figures as of 31/12 of the previous fiscal year

Section titled “Recommended order for new users”If this is your first login, follow this sequence to become operational as quickly as possible:
- Create your company file — 5 minutes. Enter your legal information and confirm your first fiscal year. 2. Interface tour — 10 minutes. Locate the Accounting, Sales, Treasury and Reports modules. 3. Configure the chart of accounts — 15 minutes if you need to create specific sub-accounts. 4. Invite your team — 5 minutes per collaborator.
